Passionate about wine and also about marketing, I have a raft of international marketing experience spanning several industries. Since gaining my WSET Level 3 Award in Wine at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust school in London, I have been following my passion and concentrating on working in the wine world.

Early in 2025, I spent a few months in Uruguay and was blown away by the fantastic quality wines that Uruguay has to offer. An opportunity came up to spend two months at Narbona Wine Lodge in Carmelo, Uruguay. Here I gained invaluable experience working directly with the winemaker, Valeria Chiola. Harvest started as I arrived and I spent my time between lab work and helping with the visitor experience, running tours and tastings in English, Portuguese and French.

Later I went on to meetings in Punta del Este and produced an in-depth marketing report for OCIO Wines. This focused on raising the profile of Las Grazas winery with visiting tourists with the aim of increasing visits and ultimately winery sales. The second phase of this project concentrates on the creation of a wine club for OCIO Wines.

Back at home in Essex, I spent some months with Majestic and now concentrate on marketing services for UK vineyards (and associated businesses) and running tasting events.
